Just like any other software out there, WordPress Theme are updated as well. So what happens and what we need to look for once updates are available?

Please Note: Any customizations you have made to theme files will be lost. Please consider using child themes for modifications.

if you made any customization to Responsive files directly and don't use a Child Theme, everything will be deleted as soon as you click on "Update Themes" button as pictured above.

This does not apply to Theme Options, your pages and posts of course, or any built-in features such as custom menus, your logo, custom backgrounds etc.

For this reason we have a Child Theme in place for you, just to make your life easier
